SWF is an Adobe Flash file format used for multimedia, vector graphics and ActionScript, it is a Shockwave Flash Movie file that can hold interactive text and graphics. It is created with Adobe Flash and can be played by Flash Player or with a web browser that has the Flash plugin installed (Adobe has officially discontinued Flash, meaning it's no longer being developed or supported). The .swf extension stands for Small Web Format and the file format was designed to deliver graphics and animations over the Internet. SWF files can contain animations or applets of varying degrees of interactivity and function. They may also occur in programs, commonly browser games, using ActionScript.
SWF Player is a free online player for SWF (Shockwave Flash) files, it can quickly open SWF files and read metadata tags from the file header, can automatically resize the window to fit SWF content and show it.
Quick start:
Click the "Open File" button and select the file you want to play (file extension is *.swf)
Click the "Play" button to show SWF content, if your SWF file is a Flash game, you can start to play now
Click the "Fullscreen" button to toggle full screen mode (only on computers)
